HTML Elements: STRIKE vs DEL
The next two sentences are in the original story submission:
This sentence uses the HTML "strike" element to mark deleted text: beforedeletedafter.
This sentence uses the HTML "del" element to mark deleted text: beforedeletedafter.
In Preview (before submitting the story), I see a strikeout of "deleted" for the "strike" phrase, but nothing different for the "del" phrase.
Am now going to click on "SubmitStory" button.

Things look the same in the formatted text, but the [del] and [/del] elements are deleted from the "Intro Copy".
Am repeating the same HTML as originally submitted, below:

THAT is strange. I pasted in the original strike and del phrases, hit preview, and now I see a "reverse" effect when I click on "Preview":
1.) All "strike" elements are gone from all places.
2.) The "del" elements are missing from the original submission, but are present in the subsequently-pasted-in text.
NOTE: My default formatting choice is "Plain Old Text". I changed the format to be "HTML Formatted" after the first preview, but before I originally submitted the story. I noticed each of my original [p] elements was converted to "[br] [br]". That's to be expected, but wanted to note that for anyone who looked at the source of this story. Now clicking on Save after adjusting the date for the story so it will display, soon.
