    According to my clock, I have now 'passed into tomorrow' — in other words, it is now approximately 2015-03-14_00:03:30

    I refreshed the page containing the above comments and still saw the subscriber badge.

    It might be that the page is cached and it may take a while for the cache to refresh... I'll try again in a few minutes.

    Annnnd, after hitting preview on the above story, and then submit, I reloaded this story's page and Voila! The subscriber badge was removed.

    Success, I think. Does this mean that one of the days granted in a subscription is only a *partial* day's worth of content?

      Upon further reflection, it seems to me that, at least in this particular instance, I received *more* than 24 hours' of subscription. Off-hand, it now appears to me that whenever there is a non-zero amount of subscription granted, the user receives that number of days, plus whatever fraction of a day is required to reach midnight (UTC) of the end date.
