NOTE: When I was trying to push this out of the submission queue into the story queue, the system stripped out these tags whenever I clicked 'preview': <hr>, <small>, and </small>

Okay, I am now performing a second-edit on the story; I'm going to try to use those tags again... Original Submission

No joy. Those tags were again stripped from the story when I clicked preview. Will try again and then click 'update' without clicking 'preview'.
