ABBR in submitted story text: FTP -- Plain Old Text

It seems the ABBR element was stripped when I hit preview while reviewing the story to post it to the site... trying again.

Yes, reproducible. When an editor is reviewing a story submission for posting to the site, the ABBR elements seem to get stripped.
